It has been almost 3 months since we wrapped up our Master Bathroom Makeover so I figure it’s time for an update on how our DIYs are holding up!
We did it! We completed our second One Room Challenge (along with over 180 other bloggers) and finished our master bathroom makeover in 6 weeks. As predicted, there were some bumps, but all in all we completed the vision and have been enjoying our completely made over space.
When there is a whole house of projects, big and small, in the works it feels something amazing to have a fully closed off space made anew. The powder room happened to become that one space at this part in the home makeover game. Working with Graham & Brown these past couple of months inspired the possibility of this project.
Bathrooms seem like a lot of work if only just to keep clean. The thought of a bathroom remodel can literally make dollar signs pop out of your eyes. Most remodeling lists have new tiles, tub, floors, and fixtures ready to check off, but these can add up to hundreds or thousands of dollars to buy and have put in by a contractor.
My biggest project as of late has been renovating (but not) the bathroom. I say “but not.” because we really haven’t been tearing down walls or replacing any big items. However, the work we have put in is significant enough for me to view it more than a makeover. I’ll let you decide?
