The Fashion Guide to Your 1920s Party!

New Years has passed, but that doesn’t mean that the parties stop! 10 days after New Years is a perfect day for a party in fact. I might be a bit biased, due to the fact that it happens to be my birthday, but that’s besides the point. ;) For this party I’ll be celebrating 26 in 1920’s style. An excuse for dressing up, classic drinks, swanky music, and organized games is my kind of party.

 

Now first thing’s first. What’s a girl to wear to such a party? Where can you find a twenties styled dress that’s not gaudy or too much like a costume? I thought to first look at Forever 21 and you needn’t look any further! You can see why below!

The prices of these are fantastic. Between $20 and $38, with most falling in the $20 range. Most have a decent length with some falling in the “petite” category or the “add some fringe or lace” category. Number 8 just might be on its way to my house…

Next, Forever 21 boasts an amazing variety of twenties styling accessories. Weather you want to sport gold, pearls, or silver, these necklaces and headbands will finish your look! These were my top picks during my searching.

These head pieces are under $5 and they’re great for year round dressing up! The faux fur vest has been trending this winter and would look so classy with these flapperesque dresses!
